Who is in charge of the finances?

Out of you and your partner, who will take control of the finances?

My partner loves to budget, whereas I'm less keen on keeping an eye on the bank balance. They'll definitely take control. 

I think it's important to define roles in the home so it never comes to a 'oh, I thought you took care of that' situation, where something is left completely untouched!

Me too! It sounds a tad old fashioned, but me and my boyfriend have defined roles that we took on without openly saying "I'll do this" "You do that". But it works really well.

That sounds like the best way to me. Otherwise you'll end up resenting the chores, or worse, each other
