Travelling

Would anyone consider travelling a bit on their honeymoon or prefer just to relax?

I'd like to do a bit of both two weeks of travelling about and seeing different places, then a week of full on relaxation and lots of nice food and drinks (three weeks away would be bloomin' lovely!). How about you?

Bit of both for sure. However, when you say 'travelling', I don't think I am cut out for back packing and camping! I would need an ample supply of spa treatments, champagne and nice pools!

Definitely. That's my idea of a hen night too! I don't want to be going out getting really drunk - i'd prefer to have a relaxing spa break with my girly friends xxxxxxxx

I meant this like, that sounds like a wonderful idea for the honeymoon, and i'd like to do something similar for myy hen night too - lots of relaxation and girly times!

That would be a lovely hen do - so nice and relaxing!

:) Definitely.  What are you thinking of doing>?

Ah spa break would be perfect honeymoon but I would prefer to do that for my hen night! chilled out and happy

Me too - that would be a lovely hen night! I'd rather have something like that than a big boozy night out.

I'm glad there are other people like me :). Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't want to get drunk on my hen night. I have the worst hangovers!

I was talking about this the other day, there's a lot of pressure to have this massively tacky, drunken night out for your hen but that's just not me. I think I might not even have one!

Exactly. Fluffy feather boas and 'L' plates are not my thing! I'd like to do something to mark the tradition of a hen night, but just something that I've wanted to do for a while like a spa day or a small holiday with my friends.

A little break away would be amazing with just your close friends! Where would you go?

I'd go to Mauritius. Always wanted to go there! What about you?

Ooh that would be lovely - get a nice tan too! I'd love to go somwhere like St-Tropez!

St Tropez would be sooo nice!  With the weather in England right now It would be great to jet off to a tropical paradise

If i had the money, i would totally love to go travelling. Take 6months out after and just the two of you go travelling. Unfortunately post wedding is the poorest time.. Perhaps a few years down the line when the damages not so bad

But by that time you might have kids, and then you're really skint!

Well surely you'd try not to plan to have children if you knew you were going to travel?  I agree Rose, I think i'd wait a little bit and save some pennies.  Also this would give me a bit of time to settle into my sparkly new marriage! haha.  Where would you like to travel Rose?

Sounds like a good plan.; You could get everything out of your system that you can't do as easily when you have children :)
