Hi guys, I've been reading on forums that people can get the 'post wedding blues'. Has anyone ever heard of this? I really do not want to experience it!

Yes I think there can be an anti-climax after the wedding which causes the post wedding blues, but don't worry we will all get through it!

It's like anything that you look forward to and build up in your mind, then, once it's over, you feel deflated. But you simply start planning the next exciting thing in your life!

I always feel like that after Christmas or a great holiday. It's frustrating as, although you don't want to feel blue, there's nothing you can do about it!

I agree something_blue. I think this is a perfect excuse for us all to plan another exciting event for just after our honeymoon ;)
I know everyone's skint after their honeymoon too so maybe that has a part to play in it. But it might still be worth planning something low-key to look forward to :)

Yes deifnitely plan away! If you plan things that will make you happy, surely you will then have a positive attitude most days :)

Planning fun things to do doesn't have to be pricey either: you could plan a picnic, a cinema trip or visit friends and family.

yeah that's a great idea. There are so many cheaper or even free exciting things you could plan! I'm going to give it a go.

Even if it's something like a sporting event you could train for together, then it's a goal you both share

I agree Rachel, sharing some of the same interests can make you happy, spending time together out of your normal environment is always good :)

Me and my boyfriend joined a salsa class last September and it's been great fun. We don't always dance with each other which gives us loads to talk about after the class. He wasnt very keen at first but then he realised that there were just as many men as women there which gave him so much more confidence. Now we go every week and we love it!

That's such a good idea. I keep trying to get mine to go to dancing lessons with me, but haven't managed it yet!

I think a lot of men can be self conscious about dancing, but a man who can dance is a great thing!
here comes the bride
I think a man who has typically female attributes but isn't shy about them, is a good thing, definitely.
