Where are the top places you'd love to go on your honeymoon?

I'd love to save up some £$ and go to a few places! Like... Hawaii, NYC, Oz and NZ :-)

Jamaica or Russia! Hopefully both! I used to work with a girl who went trekking through a rainforest and stayed in a tree house for her honeymoon. Sounded pretty good.

We're thinking of asking for travel vouchers instead of a gift list so that we can have an extended honeymoon.

Me too! Spend half of it doing something like epic, then have the second half relaxing on a hot beach somewhere.

I think I'd like to go somewhere that means something to us; we had one of our best holidays in a caravan in Bacton (Norfolk), but hopefully we;ll go somewhere a little more exotic. A lot of people did used to stay pretty local though, didn't they?

One good thing about staying closer to home is that you can go back to your honeymoon destination and re-live those early days. My grandparents had their honeymoon on the Isle of White and they used to go over there for a weekend every few years. It think that's quite sweet and I would definitely consider staying closer to home for the honeymoon, and saving the big adventures for other holidays.

That's really nice. I think I'd want my honeymoon to be the big adventure though - travel somewhere new and exciting!

New York at Christmas would be a romantic honeymoon. Or somehwere like Sweden in the snow where you could stay in a cosy little cabin and enjoy the fresh air.

I really like the idea of something like that, but I'm not a big fan of being cold - I'm rubbish in the British winter - I'd probably have to wear all the clothes I own if I went somewhere even colder.

Yeah I think I'd rather a hot honeymoon actually! Especially as I would have been hitting the gym before the wedding -i want to show my toned bod off on the beach! haha
