    Who considers a restaurant proposal as romantic? Or is it just too generic?

    On the tpoic of new Zealand, I've heard that in new Zealand there a stone called maoiri jade which their tradition says can only be given as a gift, you are not supposed to buy it for yourself. WouLdnt it be cool to have that in your ring?

    I may be bias but my proposal was amazing. We were on a world travelling trip for 6 months. He had asked my parents already so they were waiting for the news the whole time... I had no idea! Then half way though our trip we celebrated our 3 year anniversary. We were inthe south island of newzealand, which is stuning. As a preasent to each other we brought each other a i iceglacier climb. It was beautiful! When we reached the top after a long climb and he asked someone to take a picture of us....as he did that he stopped the group and proposed. It was a massive shock....and we have photos of the whole thing. It's the best feeling in the world!! he did a brilliant job of hiding the ring And box all that time.... I will upload the picture as my pp soon.

    Does anyone consider a proposal via text or email romantic?

    • Laura 'I'd be unsure whether the person was being serious or not because it's hard to know what tone someone is using over text. I'd definitely prefer to be proposed to in 'real life' because then you can do all the big hugs and kisses etc afterwards. It is a very creative idea though :) x x ' 1 year ago

    I'd like to do a treasure hunt, where each clue is about our relationship (a photo or a memory) and at the end is a ring
